The Twisted Wire which comes with this system cancels out the signal so that your pet can cross over an area without correction.  This is used  as shown in the  diagram below.     The Twisted wire is shown coming out of the garage to the boundary, and from the boundary to the garden and pool area so that you can easily enclose these areas.
